Full Time CHARGEMAN A4 Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in LIAN TAAT FOOD SDN BHD Johor - Maukerja

We are an established food manufacturing company based in Batu Pahat, Johor, currently expanding with the development of a new production facility. We are seeking a qualified and responsible Chargeman A4 to oversee the operation, safety, and maintenance of the factory’s electrical infrastructure.

This role is critical in ensuring the reliability of power supply, safety of electrical systems, and smooth operation of production equipment, including electrical systems supporting industrial boiler operations.

Position Summary

The Chargeman A4 is responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance, and safety of all electrical systems within the factory in compliance with the Electricity Supply Act and Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations.

The role requires a high level of responsibility, technical competency, and ownership, ensuring minimal electrical downtime and safe plant operation.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Operation & Compliance

• Operate and maintain the factory’s electrical installations in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations.
• Monitor and manage low voltage electrical systems, switchboards, distribution boards, and power supply systems within the plant.
• Ensure all electrical equipment operates safely and efficiently to support continuous production operations.
• Maintain electrical logbooks, inspection records, and documentation as required by regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in production machinery and utilities systems.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns or power failures to minimize operational downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and external contractors for electrical repair works.
• Ensure proper maintenance of motor control systems, electrical panels, and industrial equipment.

Boiler Electrical System Support

• Responsible for the electrical systems supporting the industrial boiler plant, including:
• Boiler control panels
• Boiler feed pump motors
• Combustion control electrical systems
• Safety alarms and protection systems
• Associated MCC panels
• Support the Boilerman / Steam Engineer in troubleshooting electrical issues affecting boiler operation.
• Ensure stable and safe electrical supply for the 30-tonne industrial boiler system.

Equipment Installation & Commissioning

• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and electrical systems.
• Participate in electrical planning and setup for new factory equipment and production lines.
• Provide technical input for electrical upgrades and system improvements.

Safety & Risk Management

• Ensure electrical works comply with lockout/tagout procedures and safety practices.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure safe working conditions for electrical maintenance and repair activities.
• Participate in internal audits, inspections, and safety compliance activities.

Ownership & Responsibility

• Take full ownership and responsibility for the safety, reliability, and performance of the factory electrical systems.
• Act promptly and responsibly in handling electrical emergencies or production-critical faults.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of accountability in maintaining critical electrical infrastructure.

Job Requirements

• Possess a valid Chargeman A4 Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission Malaysia).
• Minimum 2–3 years working experience as Chargeman in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Industrial electrical systems
• Power distribution systems
• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical regulations and compliance requirements.
• Able to work independently and handle electrical issues under pressure.
• Willing to work in Batu Pahat, Johor.
