Full Time QA-QC Engineer (Based in Pasir Gudang) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in Mechmar Boilers Johor - Maukerja

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all QA/QC activities to ensure compliance with applicable manufacturing standards, Lloyd’s Register Class 1 certification, NK Class requirements, ISO 9001, the Quality Management System (QMS), and customer requirements.
• Act as the Management Representative for the QMS, ensuring that required processes are established, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved, conduct internal quality audits and support external audits including ISO compliance audit.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications related to boiler and pressure vessel fabrication.
• Identify quality issues, nonconformities, and customer complaints; investigate root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to maintain product quality and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and monitor the calibration of measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by management.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in boiler manufacturing, pressure vessels, steel fabrication, or mechanical engineering will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of boiler and pressure vessel fabrication specifications and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Willing to travel locally or overseas when required.
• Willing to be based at Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Work hours

Monday to Friday (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
