Full Time QUANTITY SURVEYOR Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in Milik Mahir Sabah - Maukerja

About the role

This role involves preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents and costing, as well as carrying out quantity measurement and take-off from drawings and site requirements. You will prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender pricing, obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and monitor project costs and expenditure to assist in cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender documents and costing
• Carry out quantity measurement and take-off from drawings and site requirements
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations and tender pricing
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitor project costs and expenditure and assist in cost control
• Prepare and monitor variation orders (VO) and site instructions
• Check and verify subcontractor and supplier claims
• Assist in preparing progress claims and payment certificates
• Maintain proper records of project costs, measurements and QS documents
• Assist in preparing final accounts

About you

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field
• Knowledge of BOQ, costing, tendering, claims and variation orders
• Able to read and understand construction drawings
• Good communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• 3-5 years of relevant working experience in construction/property development
• Willing to travel to project sites when required
