Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse, supply chain or distribution operations, with solid management experience.

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.

Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, transportation and distribution operations.

Proven experience in P&L management, cost control and productivity improvement.

Strong understanding of Lean Warehousing / Continuous Improvement.

Experience in managing and developing large operations teams.

Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills.

Good knowledge of logistics systems / WMS and Microsoft Office.

Experience dealing with customs, regulatory requirements, transporters and logistics vendors will be an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Lead and manage daily warehouse and logistics operations to achieve operational KPIs, productivity targets and service standards.

Oversee warehouse management, inventory control, transportation and distribution activities.

Monitor operational P&L, costs and productivity, implementing strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability.

Develop and implement process improvements, Lean Warehousing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor customer KPIs covering cost, quality, service level and supplier performance.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Lead, coach and develop the operations team, including manpower planning, performance management and training.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements and applicable logistics regulations.

Work closely with customers and internal teams to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.

Evaluate and implement logistics technology and warehouse management systems to improve operational efficiency.

Manage relationships and negotiations with transporters, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.

Ensure smooth flow of incoming and outgoing materials and optimise warehouse processes.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Ensure a safe, efficient and well-organised working environment.
