PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE

Pre-Opening Team | Wyndham Semporna Resort, Sabah

Job Responsibilities

· Manage purchasing activities for hotel operating supplies, equipment, food and beverage, and pre-opening requirements.

· Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality products, and timely delivery.

· Prepare purchase orders, maintain purchasing records, and ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval procedures.

· Coordinate with department heads, Finance, and suppliers to ensure purchasing requirements are met.

· Monitor inventory levels, delivery schedules, supplier performance, and cost efficiency.

· Establish supplier databases and procurement procedures for the resort's pre-opening and operational phases.

Job Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 2–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the hotel or resort industry.

· Previous hotel pre-opening experience will be an advantage.

· Knowledge of purchasing procedures, supplier negotiation, inventory control, and cost management.

· Strong negotiation, communication, organisational, and analytical skills.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and purchasing or inventory management systems.

· Honest, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.

· Willing to be based in Semporna, Sabah.

Pay: From RM42,000.00 per year
