A major provider of prefabricated modular data center infrastructure founded in Shanghai, China.

About the role:

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing on-site warehouse personnel, materials, maintain accurate warehouse inventory records, equipment and facilities.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Diploma

• Minimum 2 yearsof relevant work experience inwarehouse management, engineering equipment management.

• Logistics management related field is preferred.

• Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to allocate tasks effectively and improve team efficiency.

• Familiarity with common material-handling tools and equipment, such as forklifts, hand trucks and pallets. Forklift certification is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management, including stock counting and record keeping.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to unexpected situations.

• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements, including material-handling safety, equipment operating procedures and fire safety.

• Able to communicate work requirements and safety procedures clearly in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Basic written and verbal reporting skills, with the ability to accurately record and report incidents or abnormalities.

Inbound & Outbound Warehouse Management

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound warehouse activities and ensure all required procedures are properly followed.

• Prepare, maintain and verify inbound/outbound records and provide information or reports as required.

• Inspect returned materials from engineering/project sites and reject any items that do not meet the requirements for return to the recovery warehouse.

Work Task Coordination & Operations

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing on-site personnel, tools and equipment.

• Ensure warehouse space is properly allocated according to project requirements, while maintaining sufficient emergency storage space and an organised storage environment.

• Supervise loading and unloading activities to ensure materials are handled safely and remain undamaged.

Inventory Management

• Assist the warehouse team in conducting stock counts and ensure inventory records are accurate.

• Monitor the movement of materials to ensure compliance with company inventory management procedures.

• Report any shortages, damages or inventory discrepancies promptly and assist in resolving related issues.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain safety and security within the assigned warehouse area and ensure materials are not lost, stolen or disposed of without proper authorisation.

Teamwork & Communication

• Foster respectful and effective collaboration among team members.

• Maintain good communication with Design, Engineering, Site, Warehouse, Procurement and Logistics teams.

• Coordinate and report on cross-departmental and external matters in accordance with the department manager's instructions and established communication channels.
