Full Time M-E Engineer - M-E Manager (High-rise) Jobs, in MVC Resources Johor - Maukerja

Our client is a well-established construction group. They are building a high-rise development in Johor Bahru and are looking for M&E professionals at Engineer, Senior Engineer and Manager levels.

You will oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of mechanical and electrical works on a high-rise building project. You will make sure works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Scope and seniority will match your level.


What you’ll do

• Plan, coordinate and supervise M&E works (electrical, ACMV, plumbing and sanitary, fire protection, and ELV systems) against the project programme
  
• Coordinate with the main contractor team, consultants, clients, M&E subcontractors and other trades
  
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, coordination drawings (BIM or CAD), material submissions and method statements
  
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, manpower and material deliveries
  
• Identify and resolve design, technical and site coordination issues early
  
• Propose practical value engineering solutions where applicable
  
• Manage and evaluate M&E subcontractors and vendors
  
• Plan and witness testing and commissioning, and coordinate authority submissions and approvals (e.g. TNB, BOMBA, JKR/CCC requirements)
  
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality requirements and SHE regulations
  
• Support handover, defect rectification and close-out documentation
  

For Senior Engineer and Manager roles will additionally lead the M&E team, manage budgets and cost control, review progress and variation claims, and report to the project management.


Requirement

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or a related engineering field
  
• M&E Engineer: 2-4 years of relevant experience
  
• Senior Engineer: 5-8 years of relevant experience
  
• Manager: 10+ years of relevant experience, including high-rise or large-scale projects
  
• Hands-on experience in M&E works for high-rise buildings (residential, commercial or mixed-use)
  
• Good knowledge of M&E drawings, specifications, site coordination, and testing and commissioning
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit/BIM or MS Project is an advantage
  
• Registration with BEM / Professional Engineer (PE) or relevant competent person certification is an advantage, especially for Senior and Manager roles
  
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
