Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or related field.

  • Candidates with relevant warehouse experience may also be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 2–5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience handling raw materials, components and finished goods is preferred.

  • Experience in loading and unloading activities is required.

  • Experience using ERP/WMS systems will be an advantage.

  • Forklift experience or a valid forklift competency certificate will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Loading & Unloading Operations

  • Coordinate and supervise the loading and unloading of raw materials, components, finished goods and other warehouse items.

  • Ensure materials are loaded and unloaded safely and according to established procedures.

  • Check quantities, item codes, packaging conditions and delivery documentation during receiving and dispatch.

  • Coordinate with drivers, transporters and logistics providers for loading and unloading schedules.

  • Ensure proper handling of fragile, heavy or sensitive materials.

  • Arrange materials according to designated storage locations after unloading.

  • Ensure outgoing goods are properly packed, labelled and secured before loading.

  • Monitor loading activities to prevent damage, shortage or incorrect shipment.

  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safety during loading and unloading activities.

B. Warehouse Receiving

  • Receive incoming raw materials, spare parts, packaging materials and finished goods.

  • Verify delivered quantities against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO) and other relevant documents.

  • Inspect materials for visible damage, shortages or discrepancies.

  • Report discrepancies to Purchasing, QA/QC or the Warehouse Manager.

  • Record all received materials accurately in the warehouse system.

  • Ensure received items are properly labelled and stored.

C. Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all warehouse materials.

  • Conduct daily stock monitoring and periodic stock counts.

  • Perform cycle counts and participate in annual stock take exercises.

  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and report findings to management.

  • Monitor stock levels and identify slow-moving, excess or shortage items.

  • Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock-in and stock-out transactions.

  • Ensure materials are stored according to product specifications and company procedures.
