GUEST SERVICE ASSOCIATE (GSA)

FRONT OFFICE DEPARTMENT

Bertam Resort & Water Park Penang
Location: Kepala Batas, Penang

We are seeking a professional, service-oriented and experienced Guest Service Associate (GSA) with a strong background in Marriott International hotel operations to join our Front Office Team.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently in accordance with Marriott brand standards.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Manage guest requests, enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure accurate room assignments, reservations, billing and payment transactions.
• Promote Marriott Bonvoy membership, benefits and guest recognition.
• Maintain guest profiles and ensure accurate information in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Follow Marriott guest service standards, SOPs and operational requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Reservations and other departments.
• Support guest satisfaction targets, service recovery and brand compliance.

Job Requirements

• MUST have previous working experience with a Marriott International hotel brand.
• Minimum 1–2 years of Front Office or Guest Service experience in a Marriott-branded hotel.
• Familiarity with Marriott Bonvoy programme, guest recognition and loyalty benefits.
• Knowledge of Marriott systems such as Opera PMS, GXP or other relevant Marriott platforms is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of Marriott brand standards and guest service expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and strong customer service skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Experience in a 4-star or 5-star Marriott-branded hotel will be an added advantage.
