WE’RE HIRING | DIRECTOR OF REVENUE

Location: Bertam Resort, Penang

Bertam Resort is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Director of Revenue to lead our revenue strategy and support the resort’s integration with Marriott.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximise room revenue, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, pricing and inventory management
• Analyse market trends, competitor performance, demand patterns and booking behaviour
• Manage room availability, rate structures, restrictions and distribution channels
• Conduct regular revenue strategy meetings with the General Manager, Sales, Marketing, Reservations and Front Office teams
• Optimise revenue across all market segments, including corporate, leisure, groups, wholesale and online channels
• Monitor Marriott systems, reports, brand standards and revenue management requirements
• Ensure rate parity and optimise performance across Marriott channels, OTAs and other distribution platforms
• Provide accurate forecasts and performance reports to Management
• Identify revenue opportunities and recommend immediate corrective strategies when targets are not achieved
• Train and guide relevant team members on revenue management practices and Marriott standards

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel revenue management, including experience in a senior revenue leadership role
• Must have solid working experience within a Marriott-branded hotel
• Strong knowledge of Marriott revenue management systems, tools, standards and reporting
• Proven track record in improving occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and overall hotel profitability
• Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, pricing, market segmentation and distribution management
• Excellent analytical, commercial, leadership and communication skills
• Resort or pre-opening/integration experience will be an added advantage
• Candidates without Marriott hotel experience will not be considered

Pay: From RM8,000.00 per month
