A food manufacturer is looking for an Electrical Technician for their plant in Johor.

My client is a well‑established multinational manufacturer with a strong presence across Asia and Europe, recognised for its high standards in product quality, sustainability, and continuous innovation. With a strong technical environment and modern production operations, they are now looking for an Electrical Technician to join their engineering and maintenance team in Tanjung Langsat, Johor.



Your new role

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment, including motors, sensors, transmitters, control systems, PLCs and electrical circuits.
  
• Diagnose system issues and identify electrical, instrumentation and automation faults using suitable diagnostic tools and techniques.
  
• Calibrate instrumentation devices to maintain accurate measurements in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  
• Respond promptly to equipment failures, power outages and process interruptions to minimise operational disruption.
  
• Maintain technical records and provide practical guidance to junior technicians.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• A Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical, instrumentation or automation maintenance.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  
• A Chargeman, Wireman or relevant Electrical, Instrumentation or Automation certification would be an added advantage.
