Role Description The Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bukit Mertajam. The Operator will be responsible for running and monitoring production machinery, ensuring that equipment operates safely and efficiently according to established procedures. Daily tasks include setting up machines, loading materials, inspecting products for quality, and performing basic troubleshooting and adjustments. The Operator will record production data, follow safety and housekeeping standards, and collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production targets. This role may also involve assisting with routine maintenance, reporting equipment issues promptly, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate and monitor manufacturing or production equipment, with basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong focus on workplace safety, quality inspection, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading work instructions, labels, and recording production data.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bukit Mertajam on a full-time schedule, including shift or overtime work if required.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation is an advantage but not strictly required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials safely, and perform manual tasks consistent with production work.
  • Commitment to learning, reliability, and a positive attitude toward continuous improvement and company policies.
