Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production to meet output, quality and delivery targets
- Supervise batching, mixing, conveying and bagging operations
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to reduce downtime and waste
- Coordinate preventive maintenance with the maintenance team
- Work with QC to ensure batch consistency and resolve quality issues
- Monitor raw material usage, moisture control (sand drying) and yield
- Track production data, OEE and downtime, and prepare regular reports
- Lead improvement projects using Lean, 5S or similar methods
- Enforce safety, dust control and housekeeping standards in line with DOSH and company policies
- Support new product trials, line upgrades and commissioning of equipment
- Guide and train production operators and supervisors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Civil or a related engineering field
- [2 to 5] years of experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably in drymix, cement, gypsum, ceramics, paint, or other dry powder handling and blending
- Good understanding of powder handling equipment such as silos, screw conveyors, mixers and packers
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and Lean or Six Sigma
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
- Willing to work on the plant floor and handle shift or overtime when required
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP or similar ERP is a plus
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also apply
Preferred Experience
- Experience with cement, sand, fillers and additives such as cellulose ether and redispersible polymers
- Exposure to production planning, costing or yield improvement
- Experience with bagging line operation and dust extraction systems
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
