Full Time Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) Jobs, in Pentamaster Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Main Goal

Make sure suppliers can deliver the right quality parts, on time, and without issues.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Suppliers

• Check if suppliers meet quality standards.
• Assess new and existing suppliers.

Evaluate Manufacturing Capability

• Review if suppliers can make parts according to drawings and specifications.
• Identify potential risks before production starts.

Manage Supplier Projects & Changes

• Track supplier progress on new projects.
• Ensure engineering changes are implemented correctly.

Handle Urgent Situations

• Ensure suppliers can quickly provide parts when there is critical equipment downtime or urgent demand.

Drive Quality Improvement

• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Investigate quality issues and lead corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, etc.
• Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, responsiveness).

Required Skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Problem-solving skills using:
  • 8D
  • 5 Why
  • Fishbone
  • FMEA
  • CAPA
  • Familiar with supplier quality tools:
  • PPAP
  • APQP
  • SPC
  • MSA
  • FAI
• Control Plan
• Good communication and project management skills
