About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Specialist – Finance & Accounting to manage daily accounting operations, full-set accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will support financial planning, cash flow monitoring, vendor payments, and audit activities while ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts and perform month-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly management reports and accurate financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
• Verify, review, and match vendor invoices against supporting documents.
• Manage fixed assets and maintain accurate asset records.
• Process vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and related documentation.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve payment queries and respond to enquiries.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monthly or quarterly operating analyses.
• Support internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
• Safeguard confidential financial information, including payroll and profitability data.
• Coordinate tasks effectively to meet reporting deadlines.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of accounting experience.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting operations.
• Experience using accounting systems or financial software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
• Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is an advantage.
