Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Warehouse to lead and oversee the Group's warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse management, inventory accuracy, operational excellence, and the implementation of best practices across all warehouse functions. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership while driving continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Develop, implement, and monitor warehouse policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to improve efficiency and maintain consistency.
• Ensure optimum utilization of warehouse space, manpower, and resources to maximize productivity.
• Oversee inventory management processes to maintain high stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies, losses, and damages.
• Establish and monitor warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, productivity, and operational costs.
• Plan and coordinate periodic stock counts and annual inventory audits.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth operational flow and timely fulfilment of business requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Lead and develop warehouse teams through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Investigate operational issues, implement corrective actions, and drive preventive measures to minimize recurrence.
• Oversee warehouse systems and support the continuous improvement of ERP/Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes.
• Prepare and present operational reports and performance updates to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse operations and leading multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse processes, and operational planning.
• Experience using ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to travel between operational sites when required.
