Key Responsibilities
1. Machinery & Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs within authorized competency.
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are in safe working condition.
2. Preventive Maintenance
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
- Check and maintain motors, pumps, conveyors, weighing scales, and other factory equipment.
- Identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
3. Factory Facilities & Utilities
- Maintain factory facilities, lighting, plumbing, drainage, and other utilities.
- Assist with installation, adjustment, and replacement of machinery parts.
- Coordinate with external contractors or service providers when required.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Apply lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures where applicable and authorised.
- Maintain a clean and organised maintenance workshop.
- Report equipment defects, hazards, and safety incidents to the supervisor.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and servicing schedules.
- Monitor spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Report completed work, recurring faults, and repair requirements to management.
6. Other Duties
- Support production operations during equipment breakdowns or urgent maintenance work.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by management.
3. Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM, SKM, or equivalent qualification; a certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical field is an advantage.
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience in factory or industrial maintenance; fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications may apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, machinery troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Able to use basic maintenance tools and equipment safely.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and factory equipment is an advantage.
- Able to work in a wet, cold, or humid seafood processing environment.
- Physically fit and able to perform hands-on maintenance work.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends, or respond to urgent breakdowns when required.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
