Full Time Chargeman (BO - AO) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in ELB Group Johor - Maukerja

Job Description

• Operate and maintain high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, MCC panels, distribution boards).
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and rectification to minimize downtime.
• Ensure full compliance with the Electricity Supply Act and ST licensing requirements.
• Conduct lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety checks before maintenance.
• Maintain statutory inspection records, logbooks, and certification for electrical systems.
• Monitor power consumption and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
• Assist in plant shutdown/start-up and ensure electrical readiness.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Chargeman Certificate of Competency (BO High Voltage and AO).
• Minimum SPM; Diploma in Electrical/Engineering is an advantage.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in palm oil, refinery, biodiesel, or chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

• Chargeman Certificate (BO / AO) (Preferred)
