Full Time Senior/ Lead Mechanical Design Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 15,000 in Howards Technology Malaysia Pulau Pinang - Maukerja

Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical, Plumbing or relevant;

Over 7 years working experiences in local design institute or engineering company;

Semiconductor and/or Pharmaceutic project reference is preferred;

English working capability is required and Malay Chinese is preferred;

Familiar with CAD application;

Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, Carrier HAP and Trane TRACE 3D Plus software is preferred.

Responsible for the overall calculation and design of mechanical systems in accordance with project requirements and client specifications and national codes, including but not limited to chilled water, hot water, cooling water, steam, natural gas, diesel, and PCW systems, etc.

Lead the team to complete the concept design, preliminary design, detailed design and IFC of mechanical systems, review design drawings, technical parameters, and solve key technical problems in the design process;

Track cutting-edge mechanical technologies in the industry, promote technology optimization and application, and reduce project energy consumption and operation costs;

Leading and coordinating discipline interface;

System shop drawing review & approval, technical submittal review & approval;

Project site construction schedule, quality and safety coordination;

Participate in the preparation of technical proposals for project bidding, provide professional technical support, and assist the business team in project negotiation;
