Role Description The Information Technology Application Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of key business applications, from planning and implementation to ongoing support and optimization. Based in Greater Kuala Lumpur in a hybrid arrangement, the role combines on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include managing application configuration and updates, coordinating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, and translating them into technical solutions. The Application Manager will monitor application performance, resolve incidents and service requests, and work with vendors and internal IT teams to ensure system stability and security. This role also involves documenting processes, supporting user training and adoption, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across business processes and IT services.

• Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including application administration and basic infrastructure concepts.
• Candidates should possess IT Management capabilities to oversee application environments, coordinate support activities, and manage vendor relationships.
• Candidates should possess Business Process understanding to align applications with operational workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan and execute enhancements, upgrades, and implementation initiatives within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Relevant experience in application management or enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, workflow or document management platforms) is beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Experience in the financial services industry or working with AI-enabled solutions is an advantage.
