Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pool Service role based in Penang, Malaysia. The Pool Service team member is responsible for performing routine pool cleaning, water testing, and chemical balancing to ensure pools meet safety and hygiene standards. Daily tasks include skimming and vacuuming pools, checking and maintaining filtration and pump systems, and identifying any equipment issues or needed repairs. The role also involves communicating with customers on-site, explaining service work performed, and responding to basic service inquiries. The team member will follow all safety procedures, maintain accurate service records, and work closely with colleagues and supervisors to plan and complete scheduled service visits.
Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing skills, including Communication and Customer Service abilities.
• Ability to apply Analytical Skills to interpret water test results and diagnose basic pool and equipment issues.
• Basic understanding of Sales and Finance concepts to support service recommendations and simple billing or quotations.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow safety and operational procedures consistently.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors.
• Prior experience in pool maintenance, facilities management, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn technical aspects of pool systems, water chemistry, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ability to work on-site in Penang, Malaysia, with a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation preferred.
