Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.

• Relevant experience in production planning, material planning or manufacturing operations is preferred.

• Experience in electronics, precision manufacturing, technology or related manufacturing industries will be an advantage.

• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin may be an advantage in a multinational manufacturing environment.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage changing production priorities.

• Proactive, organised and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders, demand forecasts and project requirements.

• Analyse production capacity, manpower, machine availability and production lead times when preparing schedules.

• Prepare detailed production schedules and ensure production orders are released according to plan.

• Generate material requirements based on production schedules and ensure sufficient raw materials and components are available.

• Coordinate closely with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Engineering and Sales teams.

• Monitor the availability and delivery status of purchased materials and components.

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimising excess stock and material shortages.

• Monitor daily production output against planned quantities and identify variances.
