Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across all age groups, with particular attention to the needs and comfort of children and older adults.
• Deliver antenatal care and perform antenatal ultrasound scans, providing clear explanations, appropriate follow-up and timely referrals when further assessment is needed.
• Perform general ultrasound examinations relevant to primary care, interpret findings within demonstrated competency and communicate results clearly to patients.
• Carry out common outpatient procedures, including wound care, suturing and minor procedures within the clinic’s scope of services, with attention to safety, patient comfort and aftercare.
• Conduct health screenings and preventive care consultations, helping patients understand their results, health risks and recommended follow-up.
• Build lasting relationships with patients and families by listening attentively, explaining treatment options clearly and treating every person with patience, dignity and respect.
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the clinic team, support staff learning and contribute to improvements in patient care, workflow and service quality.
• Work closely with management on the clinic’s development, contributing practical ideas that strengthen clinical services and meet the needs of the Mersing community.
• Maintain clear clinical documentation and sound professional standards, including appropriate consent, confidentiality and continuity of care.

Clinical Requirements

A recognised medical qualification, full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC), with eligibility to practise in the role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM15,000.00 per month
