Full Time JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – MATERIAL PLANNING Jobs, Salary up to MYR 3,500 in Smartlink Engineering Selangor - Maukerja

Smartlink Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian-based contract manufacturing and engineering solutions provider serving the semiconductor, electronics and high-technology industries. Our capabilities include cable and wire harness assemblies, electrical and mechanical assemblies, control panels, box-build assemblies, precision manufacturing and system integration.

As part of our continued business growth and expansion, we are seeking a Junior Executive – Material Planning to support material planning, inventory coordination and production requirements to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Material Planning & Control

• Review production schedules and material requirements to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor material shortages, outstanding items and potential supply disruptions affecting production.
• Prepare and maintain material shortage reports and follow up on critical materials.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse and Production to expedite materials and resolve supply issues.

2. BOM & Production Order Management

• Review and verify Bills of Materials (BOM), part numbers, quantities and production order requirements.
• Identify discrepancies between BOMs, production orders and inventory records.
• Liaise with Engineering and relevant departments to resolve BOM and material-related issues.
• Ensure production orders and material records are accurately maintained.

3. ERP/MRP System & Data Management

• Update and maintain material planning information, production orders and transactions in the ERP/MRP system.
• Monitor system accuracy and resolve discrepancies affecting material planning activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate updates of material requirements and production data.

4. Production Coordination & Inventory Monitoring

• Coordinate with Production to ensure material readiness and minimise production delays.
• Support material kitting, stock transfers and material issuance to Production.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels, stock discrepancies and material traceability.
• Communicate material shortages and potential production delays to relevant departments.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Material Management, Logistics, Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in material planning, inventory control, production planning or manufacturing operations.
• Basic knowledge of BOM, material requirements planning, inventory management and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively across departments.
• Experience in cable and wire harness assemblies, electronics or contract manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Willing to relocate to the company's new manufacturing facility in Sijangkang, Selangor, upon commencement of operations, targeted for Q*************.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
