Job Description

Requirements

  • Assist in the administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and Malaysian labor laws.

  • Provide comprehensive support for recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently, and assisting with orientation.

  • Maintain and update employee records in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing of changes.

  • Support the HR team with various administrative tasks, such as preparing correspondence, generating reports, and managing HR-related documentation.

  • Utilize HR software and other office applications proficiently for daily tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and communication.

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus) to interact effectively with employees at all levels.

  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.

  • Assist with the coordination of employee engagement activities and HR events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration for a 200-employee company.

  • Manage and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality using HR software and systematic filing.

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, including preparing necessary documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company.

  • Provide administrative support to the HR department, such as managing HR calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing HR-related correspondence and reports.

  • Assist in the implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.

  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other employment-related matters in a professional and timely manner.

  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including employee engagement activities, training coordination, and performance management support.
