Possess knowledge and minimum 2 years experience in punching/ laser cutting process.

PT3/ SPM equivalent or technical certificate

Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity

Basic computer skills

Ability to read engineering drawing

Verbally communicates in a clear, concise and effective format.

Analytical ability to solve punching/ laser cutting issues.

Good initiatives & self-started with strong team spirit

Positive working attitude

Willing to learn, meticulous and able to multi-task

Able to work long and irregular hours

To operate bending machines with minimum supervision.

To ensure bending process are carried out in accordance with specified requirements.

To be responsible for safety handling of bending machines.

To ensure the bending process produce best results as per customer requirement.

To perform in-process quality inspection and measurement of finished products and compare them with requirements using proper inspection tools.

To perform daily machinery inspection with checklist recorded & maintained to ensure machines functionality.

To work closely with production superior to perform bending operations based on priorities.

To read and interpret the engineering drawing before performing bending operations, provides feedback on issues and changes.

To be accountable & responsible for the well being of tools utilization.

To feedback and consult the superior for necessary corrective action on process quality problem if required.

To assist to guide the new employees as and when required.

To highlight to the superior when suspected defective parts are being produced.

To work with cross-functional teams on improvement or kaizen projects.

To ensure housekeeping at shopfloor and workstations are well maintained at all time.

To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time.

To operate CNC Punching & Laser Cutting machines.

To ensure punching & laser cutting process are carried out in accordance with specified requirements.

To perform the process of set up and raw materials loading onto the machines.

To be accountable and responsible for safety handling of Punching/ Laser Cutting machines.

To ensure the punching/ laser cutting process produce best results as per customer requirement.

To perform in-process quality inspection and measurement finished products and compare them with requirements using proper inspection tools.

To perform daily machinery inspection with checklist recorded & maintained to ensure machines functionality.

To work closely with production superior to coordinate and schedule priorities on the punching & laser cutting operations.

To read and interpret engineering drawing, provides feedback on issues and changes.

To be accountable & responsible for the cost control of new tool fabrications.

To feedback and consult the superior for necessary corrective action on process quality problem if required.

To assist to guide the new employees as and when required.

To ensure housekeeping at shopfloor and workstations are well maintained at all time.
