Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Logistics or a related field. Equivalent relevant industry experience may also be considered.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in ready-mixed concrete, batching plant operations, concrete production or construction materials.

At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred.

Practical experience in concrete production planning, order scheduling and mixer truck dispatch is essential.

Good understanding of batching plant operations, concrete delivery time limitations and construction site requirements.

Able to manage multiple orders and project deliveries simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Strong leadership, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Able to remain calm and make prompt operational decisions during delays, breakdowns or other unexpected situations.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and production, dispatch or batching software.

Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage, as the position may communicate with the company’s China-based corporate shareholder and review related operational documents.

Candidates who possess a valid Malaysian driving licence will be given preference.

Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends or public holidays when required by confirmed concrete pours and operational needs.

Plan and manage daily ready-mixed concrete production according to confirmed customer orders and delivery schedules.

Prepare daily production and dispatch schedules, including concrete grade, quantity, delivery time, project location and truck allocation.

Coordinate closely with customers, project sites, the Sales Department, QA/QC team, batching plant operators, mixer truck drivers and pump operators.

Arrange and allocate company-owned or subcontracted mixer trucks according to production volume, delivery distance and site requirements.

Monitor truck movements, delivery progress, site waiting time and truck turnaround time.

Ensure concrete is produced and delivered according to the required specifications, quantity and agreed delivery time.

Communicate promptly with customers and internal departments regarding delays caused by traffic, weather, equipment breakdowns, site conditions or other operational issues.

Adjust production and dispatch arrangements promptly when there are urgent orders, order changes, cancellations or site delays.

Coordinate with the QA/QC Manager to ensure the correct approved mix design is used for each order.

Monitor batching operations, production output and plant efficiency throughout each production shift.

Ensure sufficient cement, aggregates, admixtures and other raw materials are available for scheduled production.

Coordinate with the Purchasing and Store teams regarding raw material stock levels and delivery requirements.

Manage batching plant operators, production supervisors, loader operators, dispatchers and general workers.

Prepare staff duty rosters, shift schedules, attendance and overtime requirements according to operational needs.

Work with the maintenance team to arrange preventive maintenance and minimise production disruptions caused by equipment breakdowns.

Ensure all production, dispatch and delivery records are complete, accurate and properly maintained.

Verify that Delivery Orders contain the correct customer, project, concrete grade, quantity and delivery information.

Monitor operational performance, including daily output, on-time delivery, truck utilisation, turnaround time, returned concrete and material wastage.

Investigate production delays, delivery issues, rejected loads and customer complaints together with the relevant departments.

Implement measures to improve production efficiency, delivery performance and operating costs.

Ensure production and dispatch activities comply with company safety, quality and environmental procedures.

Submit daily and monthly production, delivery and operational reports to management.

Perform other production and operational duties assigned by management.
