Full Time Mold Maker Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,200 in Luxshare-Ict (J) Johor - Maukerja

We are seeking an experienced Mold Maker to manage and execute plastic injection mold fitting, assembly, modification, and repair work in our Toolroom. In this role, you will lead tooling technicians, operate conventional machinery (turning, grinding, EDM), perform basic welding, and ensure all mold assemblies strictly meet technical drawings, ECN requirements, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Mold Assembly & Repair: Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, and maintenance for new, repair, and production plastic injection molds according to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Conventional Machining & Welding: Operate conventional toolroom machinery—including turning lathes, surface grinding, and EDM machines—and perform basic welding tasks as needed.
• Technician Work Plan Management: Coordinate and manage daily work plans for tooling technicians, ensuring commitment to job completion timelines, mold test reports, and ECN schedules.
• Documentation & Feedback: Complete and file all tooling documentation (tooling checklists, assembly monitor charts, test records, and defect resolution status) while providing constructive feedback to design and production teams.
• Safety & Workplace Standards: Follow company safety rules, comply with equipment handling instructions, and maintain clean work area housekeeping (5S).

Job Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of practical experience in plastic injection mold making, fitting, and assembly.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in plastic injection mold fitting, operating conventional toolroom machinery (Lathe, Grinding, EDM), and basic welding ability.
• Blueprint Reading & Tooling Knowledge: Strong ability to interpret 2D/3D engineering drawings, specifications, and ECN details.
• Leadership & Work Ethic: Ability to organize tooling technician schedules, maintain detailed quality documentation, and ensure high assembly accuracy.

Working days: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 8.30am - 6.00pm
