Butcher is responsible for preparing and providing high-quality meat productsto customers while ensuringcompliance with food safety and hygiene standards. This role requires excellent customer service skills, product knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting meats, poultry, and seafood based on their needs and preferences.

• Provide information on meat cuts, cooking methods, storage, and recipes.

• Take customer orders and ensure timely and accurate fulfilment.

• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when necessary. 

MEAT PREPARATION

• Cut, trim, debone, grind, and portion meats to specification using knives, saws, grinders, or other tools.

• Prepare special cuts or custom orders as requested by customers.

• Package and label products accurately with pricing and weight information.

HYGIENCE & SAFETY

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards to maintain a clean work environment.

• Properly clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and surfaces after use.

• Adhere to workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
