Job Description
Responsibilities
You play a supporting role to assist the manager in leading the QC/ QC department and ensure that the company product or service meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.
- To support the Manager in planning and coordinating production quality yield on daily basis.
- To lead the QC supervisors in performing incoming inspection, final inspection and product testing.
- To assist in monitoring and following up with the involved departments on NCR and on-hold lots and ensure the corrective and preventive actions are executed.
- To evaluate the current quality activities and make recommendations to manager for improvement on the rejection rate.
- To assist in preparing work papers which include daily, weekly or monthly department work plans and schedules, presentation slides and ISO reports.
- To ensure the product inspection being conducted before releasing for shipments and delivery and report and discuss inspection results with the Manager for action plans.
- To ensure products are met and in compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
- To assist the manager in conducting yearly internal audit and periodical audits to validate corrective and preventive actions relating to processes and production.
- To assist in investigating and answering on customer complaints and quality related issues.
- To discard and reject products and materials are not meeting specification and requirements.
- To return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work.
- To train, coach and mentor junior employees and seek opportunities to grow leadership in others.
- To assist in coordinating and arrange meetings / discussion, as well as, to represent the department to attend cross department meetings.
- To carry out other duties and tasks as directed by the Management in line with competencies and activities associated with any of the above processes.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
