Job Summary

AV BLUE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced and responsible Electrical Supervisor to manage daily site operations, supervise electrical installation teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and according to quality standards.

The successful candidate will oversee commercial, industrial and residential electrical projects, including EV charger installation, electrical distribution systems, CCTV and ELV works.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation activities and site workers.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and work schedules.
• Monitor electrical wiring, DB installation, cable laying, trunking, conduit, termination and testing works.
• Supervise EV charger installation, CCTV, fibre optic and ELV projects when required.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD) and technical specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical safety standards, Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements and CIDB site regulations.
• Prepare daily site progress reports, work completion photos and material requests.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project management.
• Identify technical issues, troubleshoot site problems and propose appropriate solutions.
• Monitor project deadlines, manpower productivity and material usage.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safe working practices and correct usage of tools and PPE.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning and project handover within the employee's competency and authorization.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation or site supervision.
• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related field preferred.
• PW4 Wireman or Chargeman A1 competency is an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Experience in DB installation, cable termination, electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Able to read electrical drawings and supervise workers independently.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel outstation.
• Valid CIDB registration preferred.
• Able to prepare site reports using a smartphone or computer.
