Job Purpose

The Shipping & Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating all shipping, delivery, inventory movement, and logistics activities for printed products and raw materials. The role ensures timely delivery to customers, compliance with shipping requirements, accurate documentation, and efficient coordination between production, warehouse, transporters, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping Coordination

• Arrange and coordinate outgoing shipments for finished goods.
• Prepare delivery schedules based on production completion and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters, forwarding agents, and courier services.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure on-time delivery.

Logistics Operations

• Plan and organize daily logistics activities.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory movements.
• Monitor warehouse space utilization and stock arrangement.

Documentation & Record Management

• Prepare shipping documents such as:
• Delivery Orders (DO)
• Packing Lists
• Invoices
• Consignment Notes
• Export / Import documents (if applicable)
• Maintain accurate logistics and shipment records.
• Update ERP/system records for deliveries and stock movements.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams regarding stock availability.
• Monitor finished goods inventory accuracy.
• Assist in stock count and inventory reconciliation activities.

Customer & Internal Coordination

• Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules and shipment issues.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Sales, QA, and Warehouse departments.
• Resolve delivery delays or transportation issues promptly.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and transportation regulations.
• Follow warehouse safety practices and company policies.
• Support compliance with ISO, RBA, 5S, or other audit requirements where applicable.

Continuous Improvement

• Assist in improving logistics efficiency and delivery performance.
• Support cost-saving initiatives for transportation and shipping processes.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of shipping and logistics procedures.
• Familiar with ERP systems or inventory management systems.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules.
• Basic knowledge of import/export documentation is an advantage.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.

• On-time delivery performance.
• Accuracy of shipping documents.
• Inventory accuracy rate.
• Transportation cost control.
• Customer complaint rate related to delivery/shipping.
• Compliance with safety and audit requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
