Full Time Site Safety Supervisor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in Artans Construction Johor - Maukerja

• Possess valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) competency/registration recognised by DOSH/JKKP.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction, industrial or oil & gas projects.

• Knowledge of occupational safety and health requirements and construction site practices.

• Valid CIDB Green Card and relevant safety certifications.

• OGSP certification is an advantage.

• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and monitor multiple site activities.

• Willing to work at project/site locations.

Job Summary

Responsible for monitoring and coordinating site safety activities to ensure all construction works are carried out safely and in compliance with applicable safety regulations, client requirements and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Safety Monitoring

   • Monitor daily site activities and ensure safe work practices are followed.

   • Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions or practices.

   • Ensure corrective actions are taken for identified safety issues.

2. Safety Compliance

   • Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, DOSH regulations, client requirements and company safety procedures.

   • Monitor the proper use of PPE and safety equipment.

   • Ensure safety signage, barricades and other control measures are properly maintained.

3. Safety Documentation & Reporting

   • Maintain safety records, inspection reports, toolbox meeting records and related documentation.

   • Prepare and submit safety reports as required.

   • Assist in reporting and investigating accidents, incidents and near misses.

4. Safety Activities

   • Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and site safety inductions.

   • Participate in emergency drills and safety programmes.

   • Promote safety awareness among workers, subcontractors and site personnel.

5. Risk Control

   • Assist in identifying hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.

   • Monitor high-risk activities and ensure approved method statements, permits and risk assessments are followed.

   • Stop unsafe work where necessary and report to the Site/Project Management.

6. Coordination

   • Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineer, supervisors, subcontractors and workers on safety matters.

   • Liaise with client and relevant authorities on site safety requirements when required.

   • Support the project team in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
