Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Desa Cemerlang. The Mechanical Engineer will design, analyze, and improve water-cooling and energy conservation systems and components, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing mechanical designs, producing and reviewing CAD models and drawings, and supporting prototype build, testing, and validation. The role involves contributing to research and development activities, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client projects on time and within budget. The Mechanical Engineer will also support field implementation, troubleshoot technical issues at customer sites, and propose continuous improvements to existing products and processes.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with the ability to apply engineering principles to industrial cooling and energy conservation systems.
  • Proficiency in Machine Design, including component selection, tolerance considerations, and structural analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.
  • Capability in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating multi-disciplinary activities.
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D), such as concept generation, experimentation, and performance optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer relevant to cooling systems is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work safely on-site, conduct inspections, and support installation and commissioning activities.
  • Effective communication skills for documenting work, presenting technical findings, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in industrial plants, HVAC, or energy-efficiency projects is an advantage.
