Roles And Responsibilities:
1. Advise the employer or any person in charge of the workplace on measures to be taken in the interest of safety & health.
2. Inspect the place of work to determine whether any machinery, plant equipment, substance, appliance or process or any manual labour liable to cause bodily injury.
3. Investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational poisoning or disease.
4. Assist the committee in organizing and implementing safety and health program.
5. Assist any officer in carrying out his duty under the act or any regulations made under it.
6. Assist committee in any inspection of the place of work and any measures taken incompliance to the act
7. Prepare and submit report as per requirement of the OSH Act regulations.
8. Monitoring compliance with safety standards which included clients and customers code of conduct
9. Active participant/advisor of Site Emergency Response Team
10. Interact with all level of people to help develop or revise organization's documented procedures & work instructions.
11. Plan and conduct EHS related training for employees, visitors, and contractors
12. Carry out any other instruction by the employer or any other person in charge of the place of work on safety & health matters.
Requirements:
1.Degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required
2.Minimum 3 years working experience
3.Proficient in MS Office - Words/Excel/ Power point
4.Well versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia
5.Familiar with EHS related legal requirement
6.Possess a vast working knowledge in related practices in the industry
7.Able to work independently and have a good interpersonal skil
1. Lead EHS Regulatory Compliance - Provide guidance to site managers and employees, conduct internal and support external audits, to ensure compliance with all applicable requirements. Design corrective and preventative action plans.
