• Act as Maker for end-to-end trade finance processing of Singapore and Hong Kong Trade Finance activities (SG & HK TFA). The activities include processing of: Import LC issuances, amendments, acceptances, payments etc. Export LC advising, confirmation, negotiation, acceptance, negotiation, discounting, payment and reimbursement claim. Guarantees including shipping guarantees, bid and performance bonds, Drawee risks, Bank Refinancing and Risks Participations.
• Ensure smooth and efficient execution of BAUs relating to trade finance SG & HK TFA activities within the specified time frame and cut-off time for the transactions.
• Ensure all trade finance transactions are duly handled and processed in accordance with the relevant procedure manual, rules and regulations

Transaction origination: supporting and contributing to the origination and pitching process by being actively involved in client discussions, pitches and structuring as well as supporting origination through research, market intelligence, contributing to answers to Request for Proposals, to the production of marketing materials and to the follow up of client initiatives.
Team management/supervision: Oversee and manage junior team members within the DCS/FSS Singapore team, ensuring the smooth operation of the business both locally and in coordination with the broader DCS/FSS teams across APAC.
Transaction execution: contributing to the structuring and supporting or leading execution of new transactions. Undertaking transaction documentation review and managing discussions with counsel, supervising or performing transaction modelling (cash-flow models, rating agencies models, profitability pricing), supervising or performing data analysis (historical performance, portfolio statistics). Driving the preparation of credit applications and other internal memorandum related to transactions. Liaising with the various teams involved in the transaction execution (sales, legal, portfolio management, middle office, conduit, etc.).
