Primarily responsible for assisting with and evaluating: • New innovative approaches for the company exploring new technologies such as material chemistries, engineering materials and solutions working closely with internal teams at our production sites as well as external parties. • Determining the patentability of the company’s inventions, performing prior art searches and providing IP alerts of industrially relevant patent disclosures and publications. • Support the scouting and development of partner relationships within the innovation space (e.g. Universities, Start Up’s and Research Organizations) and translating technologies to the benefit of our manufacturing and product platforms. • Support the management and execution of innovation and R&D projects developing new solutions, chemistries and technical approaches providing where required hands on technical support and advice. Assisting R&D in method development and the use of analytical characterization techniques. Ability to work with and mentor junior R&D colleagues is encouraged.
