The Resident Competent Electrical Engineer (132kV) is responsible for providing dedicated on-site electrical engineering leadership and technical authority for all high-voltage and plant electrical systems within a cement manufacturing facility. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation, maintenance, and development of the 132kV incoming supply infrastructure and associated MV/LV distribution network that supports continuous cement production operations.
The role holder acts as the site's designated competent person for all 132kV HV electrical activities and serves as the principal interface between plant operations, maintenance teams, NLDC, and external contractors for all electrical engineering matters.
Act as the on-site Competent Person for the 132kV receiving substation, including all switching, isolation, and permit-to-work authority.
