Key Responsibilities:-
• Responsible to assist and coordinate the implementation of occupational safety and health in the organization in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and Factory and Machinery Act 1957
• Managing the workflow, create team schedule, delegating tasks and supervise the coordination of Site Safety Supervisor to ensure HSE plan is well executed in compliance with the legal and Department of Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
• Prepare, develop, review and revise the OSH management system such as manual, procedure, work instruction, HIRARC documents.
• Conduct data analysis on accident trend and accident statistic and propose planning and execution for improvement.
• Liaise with government agencies such as DOSH on matters related to Osh management particularly field assessment; field audit and submission of document to government agencies online portal (CEM; Certificate of Fitness etc)
• To aid safety and health committee to support the effectiveness of the implementation of safety promotion and incident investigation at the workplace.
• To ensure work-place inspection and audit (internally or externally) is carry out regularly.
• Perform incident investigation and report on root causes for incidents and ensure the corrective action is taken by respective department.
• Assist Safety Manager in establishing and running the implementation of Plant Emergency Management which include planning for drills and continuous communication with team members.
• To plan and conduct Safety and Health training to all employees and develop the subordinate to improve their level of competency.
• Develop related Safety & Health training materials for all safety program and safety promotional media content.
• Provide mentoring and on the job assessment to Safety Dept. new hires to make sure they understand their roles.

• Coordination with subcontractors and verification of their safety procedures;
• Rectification of all identified unsafe practices on-site;
• To lead with investigating incidents and accidents to ensure the timely production of corrective and preventative action plans;
Advise and lead employees and sub-contractors on various safety-related topics;
• Work closely with employees and sub-contractors to ensure safe working environment and prevent any injuries and accidents;
• To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when required.
REQUIREMENT
• Posses a valid Site Safety Supervisor competency license registered with DOSH/JKKP (Must have valid Yellow Book)
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in construction site (Infrastructure)
• Required languages(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3 years’ working experience in project-related field such as in infrastructure, civil, structural discipline
• Specialized in water treatment plant works
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office application)

Responsibilities
Participate in the Risk Management process at various stages as appropriate
Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, code of practice, client's requirement and the Company's safety rules and regulations
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that work activities are carried out in a safe manner
Provide advice and support to the project teams
Monitor and review records arising from accidents, incidents, external complaints, inspections, audits, reviews, statistics, etc.

Requirements
Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health or related Engineering Disciplines
Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower
Registered Environmental Control Officer with NEA
Registered Earth Control Measures Officer
At least 5 years' experience as WSHO in the construction industry
Candidate with relevant Environmental Control certification will have an added advantage
