- Export Regulatory Compliance- Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements for assigned export markets.- Review and interpret country-specific food regulations, import requirements and market entry requirements.- Assess product formulations, ingredients, food additives, processing aids, packaging materials, nutrition information and product claims against applicable regulations.- Provide regulatory support during new product development, reformulation and product launches to ensure export readiness and compliance.2. Product Registration & Regulatory Documentation- Prepare, coordinate and maintain product registrations, notifications and renewals for export markets.- Review and approve product artwork and labelling to ensure compliance with destination market requirements, including ingredient declarations, allergen statements, nutrition information, mandatory warnings, product naming and language requirements.- Prepare and maintain regulatory documentation, including Product - Specifications, Ingredient Declarations, Allergen Statements, GMO Declarations, Halal documentation, Certificates of Free Sale, Health Certificates and other technical documents.- Support export documentation required by customers, distributors and regulatory authorities to facilitate product registration and customs clearance.3. Regulatory Advisory & Business Support- Monitor changes in food regulations across key export markets and evaluate their impact on existing and new products.- Provide regulatory guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Marketing and Export Sales, throughout the product lifecycle.- Respond to regulatory enquiries, complete technical questionnaires and support customer audits, regulatory inspections and certification activities.- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely regulatory approvals and successful product launches.4. Regulatory Operations & Continuous Improvement- Maintain regulatory databases, compliance trackers and document control systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date regulatory records.- Ensure regulatory documentation is properly managed and readily available to support business and customer requirements.- Identify and implement improvements to regulatory processes, documentation and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.- Keep abreast of international food regulations, industry standards and best practices to support the Company's export growth and continuous compliance.
