Outlet Host (3,5 months): During this rotation, you will gain a thorough understanding of outlet host operations within the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. You will learn how to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations and waitlists, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure a smooth and efficient flow of service throughout each shift. As part of her/his training, You will also develop strong customer service communication skills, including learning the appropriate language and tone to use when interacting with guests in a variety of situations.Throughout the rotation, You will assist with guest inquiries, support communication between front-of-house team members, and help maintain presentation standards across the outlet.
Outlet Server (5 months): This phase aims to refine and further develop skills already learned from the previous phase, as well as introduce you to skills required by a server in a fine dining, casual setting and banqueting event. You will learn the different procedures and techniques of service that differ between the outlet settings and will put into practice and to master each of these different techniques, learn to use POS computer system to record and track ordered items, learn to use various upselling techniques, learn to control guest checks and secure proper payment, learn hotel events/BEO standards for setup and service of large functions; learn process for mise en place, learn gratuity distribution methods, and learn process for ensuring customer satisfaction and complaint resolution.
