Job Summary

Responsible for providing professional perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical, endoscopic, and related procedures. Ensures patient safety, delivers pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, assists surgical and anaesthesia teams, maintains accurate documentation, and complies with hospital policies, infection control standards, and nursing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care throughout the patient's perioperative journey.
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures and patient recovery.
• Prepare and maintain operating theatres, equipment, and sterile instruments.
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any abnormalities or complications.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and safe surgery protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and charge entries.
• Support patient education and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Assist in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and sterilization processes.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing.
• Post-Basic Qualification in Perioperative Nursing is an added advantage.
• Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia and possess a valid practising licence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, on-call duties, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
