About the role

We are looking for an experienced Motorcycle Technician to join the team at SWISH Motorsport in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic automotive trades company specialising in motorcycles. As a Motorcycle Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, diagnosing and repairing motorcycles to the highest standards, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and reliable vehicles. Your technical expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and the reputation of SWISH Motorsport.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and servicing on motorcycles, including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections and tyre rotations

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge

Repair and replace defective motorcycle components, including engines, transmissions, suspensions and electrical systems

Conduct thorough inspections of motorcycles to identify potential problems and recommend preventative maintenance

Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all work completed on motorcycles

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status, costs and recommendations

Keep the workshop clean, organised and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations

Stay updated with the latest motorcycle models, technologies and repair techniques

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Motorcycle Technician or similar automotive repair role, with at least 3-5 years in the industry

Strong knowledge of motorcycle mechanical systems, electrical systems and engine diagnostics

Proficiency with motorcycle repair tools and diagnostic equipment

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins and wiring diagrams

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills

A valid driving licence

Physical capability to perform hands-on technical work and lift heavy components

Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in automotive/motorcycle repair are preferred

Experience with specific motorcycle brands or models is advantageous
