Machinist (Wire EDM/ Surface Grinding/ CNC Milling/ CNC Lathe)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machinist to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Wire EDM, Surface Grinding, CNC Milling, and CNC Lathe operations. You will be responsible for producing high-quality components according to technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining high machining standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Wire EDM/ Surface Grinding/ CNC Milling/ CNC Lathe machines.

• Interpret technical drawings, GD&T requirements, and machining instructions.

• Perform precision machining to meet tight tolerances and quality specifications.

• Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.

• Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, caliper, etc.).

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to ensure smooth workflow.

• Follow all safety protocols and company quality procedures.

Requirements

• Apprentices welcome: Fresh graduates, trainees, or individuals with a strong interest in machining will be considered.

• Experience machinist: 1–5 years of experience in machining or precision engineering.

• Able to read engineering drawings (apprentices will receive training).

• Familiarity with basic measurement instruments is an added advantage.

• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work in a team.

• Willing to work overtime or shifts when required.

Added Advantage

• Experience in mold, tool & die, or precision machining.

• Knowledge of CAM programming (e.g., Mastercam, Cimmatron, Solidworks).

• Ability to operate or learn multiple machines.
