• Minimum 1 year of experience in: Ocean Freight Import / Export Operations, Sea Freight Operations, Freight Forwarding and Shipping & Logistics Operations

• Knowledge of export documentation, shipping procedures, and carrier coordination.

• Experience using CargoWise (CW1) or similar freight forwarding systems is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of Bills of Lading, shipping documents, and export compliance requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Employment Type : 6 months contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM3,000 - RM3,500 (based on experience & skills)

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end Ocean Export shipments (FCL & LCL).

• Handle customer enquiries, shipment bookings, and export documentation requests.

• Accurately register and maintain shipment data in CargoWise (CW1) and other operational systems.

• Coordinate closely with shipping lines, shipping agents, freight forwarders, offices, customers, and service providers to ensure seamless shipment execution.

• Prepare, verify, and manage export documentation

• Monitor permit declarations and ensure export compliance requirements are met.

• Arrange shipment bookings, vessel space allocation, and freight rates with carriers and procurement teams.

• Send shipment pre-alerts and vessel departure updates to customers and destination offices.

• Coordinate cargo release and Proof of Delivery (POD) activities for door delivery shipments.

• Monitor shipment exceptions, delays, cargo discrepancies, and damaged cargo situations while ensuring timely escalation where required.

• Support cargo and insurance claims management with customers, surveyors, and offices.

• Verify shipment costs, vendor invoices, and intercompany charges to ensure billing accuracy.

• Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and compliance with customer-specific SOPs and KPIs.
