Full Time Coating Operations Supervisor Jobs, salary up to MYR 12,000 in SHB Malaysia Automotive Appliance Sdn. Bhd. Johor Bahru - Maukerja

Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry, Polymer Materials and other related majors.

At least 8+ years working experience in automotive powder coating process and on-site management, 3+ years in workshop supervisor/manager position; Priority will be given to local Malays with experience.

Skilled in automatic powder coating line operation, process debugging and equipment maintenance; familiar with Ford/GM/Stellantis coating acceptance standards and automotive parts testing specifications (salt spray, adhesion, etc.).

Familiar with IATF16949 system, capable of handling OEM audit, quality rectification and production ramp-up independently.

Excellent English listening, speaking and writing skills for overseas work communication; willing to work long-term in Malaysia; strong stress resistance and new factory management capability.

Responsible for overall operation, capacity planning, delivery and cost control of the powder coating production; manage manpower, equipment and materials to ensure stable mass production delivery of automotive wiper metal parts.

Proficient in automotive-grade polyester powder coating, pre-treatment (E-Coating) and curing process; optimize spraying parameters; control coating thickness, adhesion, salt spray resistance and appearance; handle on-site abnormal issues to meet OEM quality standards.

Manage daily inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and regular upkeep of the electrostatic powder coating lines, curing ovens and conveyor lines; establish equipment files to reduce failure rate and ensure efficient production.

Implement IATF16949 quality system, promote 5S and lean production, ensure safety and local environmental compliance; support OEM audit, PPAP review and quality rectification.

Responsible for team training, performance appraisal and team building; optimize powder utilization, yield and energy consumption to achieve continuous cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
