Must-Have Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical drafting or piping design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).

Advantages

• Experience in industrial refrigeration, oil & gas, process plants, HVAC, manufacturing, or M&E projects will be an added advantage.

Other Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in active construction sites and unconditioned environments for site inspections and field verification.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D piping models using AutoCAD or other approved drafting software.
• Produce technical drawings, piping layouts, piping isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, spool drawings, and detailed shop drawings.
• Prepare equipment layouts and piping routes according to project specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Site Engineers, and Production teams on drawing requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards, client requirements, and relevant engineering codes.

Working Conditions

• Environment: Work will be divided between office-based tasks and construction site visits.
• Mobility: May require travel and overnight stays at various regional or overseas project locations.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to climb scaffolding and walk through uneven or rugged site terrain.
• Safety: Wearing full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory during frequent site inspections.
