Proven hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation, including pH meters, analytical balances, and viscometers.

Demonstrated ability to manage the full R&D lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to scale-up and mass production.

In-depth knowledge of industry standards (such as ISO, GMP).

Excellent communication skills.

Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Lead R&D Team to create product formulation

To advice the appropriateness of artwork description including precautions, ingredients and usage directions

Develop products accordingly  to customer needs and requiremnets

Collect and provide information on ingredients, MSDS and relevant information of the raw materials.

To practice and ensure Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in ensuring safe and efficient usage of the laboratory.

To lead and manage reventive maintenance, verification, and/or calibration for instruments and equipments as per SOP. 

To procure new laboratory equipments for product development purpose.

To maintain and troubleshoot on laboratory equipments.

To maintain an inventory record on the consumables in the laboratory and purchase before the stocks run out.

To manage preventive maintenance, verification, and/or calibration for instruments and equipments as per SOP. 

Discusses production failure with General Manager and determines causes of the failure and the solution.

Responsible for the development and training of the laboratory subordinates.

Responsible for ensuring that all analytical instruments correctly utilized, maintained, calibrated and that their spare parts are always available.

In co-operation with the Production Supervisor ensures equipment and processes are maintained and run properly.

Responsible for ensuring that all tests are performed in accordance with correct approved methods.

Maintain product formulation record
