Product Development

• Prepare basic application samples as requested for customer briefs, Product development needs, technology performance assessments, quality control standards, and physical testing.

• Maintain recipes records and documentation in company database software.

• Ensure an organised stock of raw materials in the lab, facilitating efficient product preparation.

• Maintain a collection of flavours in the lab for immediate response to briefs and application requests.

• Assist technologists in complex projects when requested.

• Participate in the evaluation of raw materials, new technologies, and flavours in food products, providing feedback on flavour performance.

Environmental Health & Safety

• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EH&S policies and good laboratory practices.

• Participate in safety training and adhere to established EH&S guidelines during daily tasks and activities.

• Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors, contributing to a culture of safety within the lab.

Your professional profile includes:

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline. Open to Diploma or SPM graduates too.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

• 0–3 years of experience in a laboratory, food applications, production, or related environment are advantageous.

• Good written and verbal communication skills with basic proficiency in standard PC applications

• Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment, research documentation, chemical handling, and safety/hygiene practices

• Passionate in tasting and evaluating flavours and ingredients

• Strong attention to detail, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
