Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, Digital Media or a related field

Active personal social media presence — someone who genuinely uses and understands Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn or Facebook beyond just scrolling

Any self-initiated content creation experience is a plus — personal blog, campus project, student organisation social media, or freelance work

Exposure to basic SEO, Google Analytics or paid ads through coursework or self-learning is an advantage

Fresh year students or those with no prior work experience are welcome to apply — we value curiosity and initiative over experience

Good writing skills — able to produce clear, engaging and on-brand copy in English for social media and digital channels

Basic understanding of social media platforms — how each works, what content performs well and how brands grow an audience organically

Familiarity with design tools such as Canva for producing simple social media visuals and creatives

Comfortable with Microsoft Office — particularly PowerPoint for presenting ideas and proposals, and Excel or Google Sheets for basic tracking and reporting

Comfortable with data — able to read basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement rate, impressions and click-through rate

Organised and self-driven — able to manage a content calendar, meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks at once

Propose and plan monthly social media content calendars across Car Insurance, Hire Purchase Loan and Dealer Financing — covering content themes, posting schedule and key messages per product

Review and provide recommendations on Carsome Capital's current social media presence — identifying gaps, opportunities and improvements to better reflect the Carsome Capital’s brand

Work closely with the Group Marketing team to brief, coordinate and follow up on content production and campaign deliverables.

Support the creation of social media captions, campaign copy and short-form content in English & Bahasa Malaysia

Monitor and track social media performance — reach, engagement, follower growth — and compile findings into simple weekly or monthly reports

Assist with basic SEO tasks — keyword research, content tagging and identifying opportunities to improve organic search visibility

Help manage and respond to social media comments, direct messages and basic enquiries across all platforms

Prepare presentations and proposals to support the marketing team's planning and reporting needs

Support any ad hoc digital marketing projects or campaign launches as required
